Welcome (update II)
If you have arrived at this page I realize that you have taken the trouble to contact me for this blog's username and password.
I appreciate the effort.
Thank you.
Oh, and by the way, the name of this blog comes from a comment once made at the Tamarika site by Jean at This Too. Thank you, Jean for your support and encouragement.
Update I
I hope to post the reason for this blog before I leave for Rhodes Island on Thursday. Will keep you posted (no pun intended ... or ... intended ... hm ... )
Update II
Yesterday, this piece in the New York Times Magazine had me gasping for breath. It hit so close to home I looked around to see if Daphne Merkin was in the room with me.

Congratulations on this new step, Tamar. Looking forward to mining the nuggets with you ... :-)

What a heartening and inspiring quote you start with. And I'm so chuffed to have given you a title! Long may you continue to share what you need to share. I'll be here listening.

Nuggets? I think you've hit a lode!

Hello there savtadotty. I am ashamed to say that I had to look "lode" up in the dictionary. I found three meanings for it. I chose one of them ... if it is the one I chose, thanks so much. In fact, mining nuggets is pretty much one word at a time - at times.
