Quote of the day:
This feels like a one-liner kind of day so far. Maybe more coffee… “If you don’t know where you are going, you will probably end up somewhere else.” - Laurence J. Peter - nobody asked ...
Feeling betwixt and between is where I am right now. Heading out for a two-day trip tomorrow so have to clean up, do laundry and talk to Molly and Ada about it. Yesterday I had a great birthday with good food, friends, Philadelphia Museum of Art and some nifty gifts. I turned 56 and survived greatly.
I really enjoyed receiving all your comments and greetings: Brenda, Richard, Natalie, Julie, Ronni, Nappy 40, franchini, Always Question, Jean and Danny - not to forget and always including the belated ones.
Shimon said to me[of blogging], "You have quite a community there, eh?"
I had a meeting at my new-work-place-to-be and realized suddenly that full-time work starts again mid August. Forced sabbatical ends. Unemployment ends. Why did I complain so much? Time is slipping away like desert sands in a Dali painting.
Did you see Danny's critical moments? What an idea for a list! I am going to have to think about this one - it could be a humdinger, no?
And oh, before I forget, look at this - do we remember him? - YES!
Another take on your quote of the day "if you don't know where you're going...."
"Our plans miscarry because they have no aim. When a man does not know what harbor he is making for, no wind is the right wind"
Seneca
