We bloggers love to blog and then we love to meet. Gee I would have loved to have been there!
Quotes of the day:
It's not quite a blog, but it's pretty good for government work. Sandhill Trek
My candle burns at both ends;
It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends -
It gives a lovely light! (Edna St. Vincent Millay's poem, First Fig - from Time Goes By)
On vacation in New York we passed the Algonquin on 44th and I thought of the relatively small but hugely famous circle of writers that hung out there. Here in Blogtopia our circles expand and overlap and the face to face opportunities, while few, are important and often wonderful. It was wonderful to meet Ronni face to face. When you get to Madison, Tamar, call and we'll have you over for dinner.
(That calling is the hardest part for me. "HI, this is some strange guy you never met, but we both blog so why don't we hang out together for a while.")

I'll have no problem making that call Frank. Now I just have to get to Madison. Same goes for when you're in Philadelphia!
