Dick is here. Just back from the bottom of the Sea of Cortes, Baja Peninsula. Lies on the couch near his son and tells of tuna with tiny razor sharp teeth, Dorado, and sea lions on a rock "barking their heads off." Five feet down from him as he swam was a large sea lion looking back up at him with large beautiful eyes. Dick says he was a wee bit startled but full of wonder. He concludes: "I don't want to live on a boat. Too confining. Not enough exercise."
I sit way back answering Ollie and visiting friends. But all the while I am listening to the hum of Tom and his dad's deep, comfortable voices telling fishing stories.
Sun streams in through the window.
