I lost my blog.
Yes indeed. Sitting under a pile of papers to grade, this past week, I could not see out, and when I did, TypePad had misplaced parts of my blog!
I was befuddled to say the least.
Danny wrote to me:
Am I imagining things or have some of your later posts on your blog disappeared? I know "Random" wasn't the last one. What happened?
... They're working on TypePad and are displaying "old" versions of our blogs. Oy, I should really print out my blog every day--do you? I hate to think of everything being lost and I have no record of it. Or maybe I should just accept the ephemeral nature of my blog and everything else, what difference does it make?
So:
... maybe I should just accept the ephemeral nature of my blog and everything else ...
At least, until all this grading gets done.
They worked a lot of magic putting everything back together after the great Typepad meltdown. Better if tyhey would configure so there were no meltdowns. I think they are playing too much WOW and not paying attention to the blog business.

It was amazing how odd I felt when all my Typepad friends ran dry. I'm on WordPress and unaffected, but still felt stranded. Hope it is all OK now.

Stranded is the word Winston. And like Tamar, I'm considering printing off my archives, thank god everything is ok now.
fp too may have a point.
