Well, home I came and then I was invited by no less than 100 Bloggers. Well, actually, Troy Worman did the inviting.
That was the third thing. The first was discovering my book had been cited in a four-page Resources for Teaching and Learning about Social Studies in September, 2005 Young Children Journal. I was reading it on the plane coming home yesterday and there it was!
The second was an announcement from CCIE that my article, What We Do Matters, will soon be published in: Beginnings Workshop Book: Child Development.
All three in less than 24 hours. What a start to my New Year!
Now that's the way to start out the new year Tamar...Congrats!

Woo-hoo! Fantastic news, Tamar, and I'll be sure to let Heinemann know when I'm there next week.

And my New Year started with a flat tire and dropping my cell-phone in a cup of coffee - accidentally, of course. I do not recommend either of those activities, except for the terminally bored. Perhaps I have all the bad stuff out of the way and something good will happen now!

Oh dear Winston, I am LOL as they say in blogging world! It's like breaking a glass at a wedding. It is good luck for sure!
Thanks, Danny!
