Memed again

Well, I guess I asked for it ... because I asked who savta tagged ... and so here I am: meeeeming again.

1. Who is the last person you high-fived? T. Early in the morning two days ago.
2. If you were drafted into a war, would you survive? I would not be drafted ... I would flee to wherever I could to get away ...
3. Do you sleep with the TV on? Yes. Because T. loves to watch it in bed. I turn over and fall asleep immediately.
4. Have you ever drank milk out of the carton? No. But I have drunk water from the pitcher or orange juice from the bottle. Somehow I find It really hard to drink from a carton.
5. Have you ever won a spelling bee? Nope. Have never participated in that sort of competition. I did win a talent show when I was sixteen. I sang a song called, "The Dove."
6. Have you ever been stung by a bee? No.
7. How fast can you type? Very fast. Even though I only use two or three fingers.
8. Are you afraid of the dark? Sometimes - seldom. It depends on how I'm feeling or how the weather fares, or ...
9. Eye color? Green or brown - it seems to change.
10. Have you ever made out at a drive-in? I can't really remember but I think I must have with that boyfriend I dreamed about recently.
11. When is the last time you chose a bath over a shower? Oh, most recently. I love bathing with lavender bubbles.
12. Do you knock on wood? Yes indeed. I never miss an opportunity for a bit of good luck!
13. Do you floss daily? Certainly not! How boring that is.
14. Can you hula hoop? Sadly - no. I was a great hula-hooper in my childhood. I remember my very first hula-hoop that my father bought me for a surprise gift once when I was about 8. Somehow the hips just don't get the groove right lately. Sad but true.
15. Are you good at keeping secrets? Oh yes - oh yes - indeed!
16. What do you want for Christmas? Snow. Lots and lots of snow.
17. Do you know the Muffin Man? No, I don't. I do know the song though.
18. Do you talk in your sleep? Seldom and if I do - it is incoherent. I cry or laugh sometimes in my sleep.
19. Who wrote the book of love? I don't know ... let me see ... no I don't know.
20. Have you ever flown a kite? No - never.
21. Do you wish on your fallen lashes? Yes. See above # 12.
22. Do you consider yourself successful? I go in and out of confidence with this one. Sometimes I feel successful but mostly I feel ... well ... not really successful at all ... a bit of a failure actually ...
23. How many people are on your contact list of your cell? Oh, about ten. I keep forgetting to save new names. So I keep some in my palm pilot and very few in the actual phone.
24. Have you ever asked for a pony? Oh dear - certainly not.
25. Plans for tomorrow? Department meeting, Program meeting, work-out, dinner in Chestnut Hill maybe?
26. Can you juggle? Just with two objects and quite erratically.
27. Missing someone now? Yes. I always miss my old friend Charlie.
28. When was the last time you told someone, "I love you?" Yesterday morning. I was talking to my good, old dear friend Evie who lives in Buffalo. I called her up on the cell phone as I drove to work. We planned a visit to Buffalo in June. At the end of the call I said, "Evie, I love you."
29. And truly meant it? ... and I meant it!
30. How often do you drink? About once a week. A glass of wine. Sometimes on a special occasion I enjoy a gin and tonic ...
31. How are you feeling today? Waking up slowly. Anxious about work. Thoughtful about this meme.
32. What do you say too much? Molly and Ada ... come and get your treats! (sung in a real cutesy kind of high pitched, weird sort of voice)
33. Have you ever been suspended or expelled from school? No.
34. What are you looking forward to? The summer!
35. Have you ever crawled through a window? I think I have ... I'm sure I must have ... but I can't remember where or when.
36. Have you ever eaten dog food? Good Lord! No - never!
37. Can you handle the truth? Yes and no. It depends on how vulnerable or anxious I am feeling. However, I prefer the truth to everything else even if it hurts.
38. Do you like green eggs and ham? I like the book.
39. Any cool scars? I have to borrow savtadotty's answer here for it is exactly the same as mine: "Only on my heart and my psyche, but those are hot scars. "
