Way to start the day:
First:
- Strong forty minute walk and run on the treadmill.
- Lift 10 pound weights for about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Yoga asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises) for 30 minutes.
And then:
Blended fruit shake.
Recipe:
- One full blown very ripe banana
- Half a pear and half an apple
- Half a sweet, seedless, navel orange
- Half a dozen seedless, medium sized juicy sweet black/blue? grapes
- Four or five Medjool Dates (without the pits of course!)
- A hand-full or two of pine nuts
- A cup of fresh pineapple
Don't forget the blueberries. I use about five ounces of them every shake I make.
Half a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and half a glass of plain soy milk gets added.
Don't forget six ounces or so of raspberries! Or any other fruit you feel like adding. Last weekend, we added very ripe and sweet mangoes (without the pit of course!).
... and into the blender it all goes. Blend, and blend and blend ... over and over again. To get all the little lumps out and have it come out all smooth and lovely. It makes about three full glasses of fruit shake.
Yum!
What a great way to rid my mind, body and spirit from all that toxic energy, eh?
I'm going to start on my Tamarika Rejuvenation Regime this weekend.
Though the workout is a bit too strenuous (oh, by say, about 90%) for these old bones, that shake is just what the dr. ordered.
Thanks doc and have a week of peace.

Hey goldenlucyd! I try to stick to five times a week for the regime - of course it doesn't always work out because life happens! But the shake is yummy. Enjoy, with love!

I'm going to put this recipe on my refrigerator. Sounds very refreshing.
