I am trying out an experiment. Trying to view Itzhak Perlman playing Klezmer ... well, did it work?

joared, what a beautiful quote! Thanks so much for sharing that.
It's quite easy to put up the video, it turns out. But I am using Typepad. I don't know how it works for your blog folks. Surely there is a "help desk" that can share that information with you?
THANK YOU, TAMAR! Worked perfectly and I want to know how to do that, too. I have to master pictures first.
Loved the music. Perlman brings the violin alive for me -- can experience the feeling with which he plays.
Reminds me that years ago there was a PBS special in which he had learned to improvise and play jazz. Was a wonderful show which included his discussion comparing the differences of playing classical and jazz. He expressed his admiration for jazz musicians, the challenges and skills of improvization. Wish I had taped this show; that I could find a copy of it somewhere, or PBS would play it again.
Whether it's classical, jazz or Klezner, as he said, "When you're dealing with music, you're dealing with the soul of a society."

It worked. Thank you, Tamar. I especially loved it when he snuck a little Bach in at the end! Klezmer Bach! OMG
